A word from Commander Thish...
"Watching kids this excited about learning scripture is a must see one-on-one! I’ve never felt that I’ve more directly affected the spiritual growth of an individual outside of my own kids more than I do EVERY week in Awana. Watching their effort and assisting their understanding is almost indescribable! If God's tugging at you to serve - I’d love to ask you to come join the fun!"

Regular registration for Awana is now closed. We do our best to get all kids into the program by the first day of club. Children of parents who are able to volunteer in Awana weekly are given priority. Click here to put your kiddos on the Awana Wait List 2018-19.
Awana (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is our midweek ministry to kids ages three years (potty trained) through 12th grade. We meet most weeks from September to May on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We offer a fast-paced, fun-filled night which incorporates a high energy game time, a large group teaching segment, and a small group Scripture reciting time. Each Awana night has a theme that kids can get excited about and participate in.
The typical Awana year here at Lighthouse sees an average of 200 kids pass through the halls each week. Awards are earned and given based on scripture memory and lesson work.
Awana Registration Fees (fees DO NOT cover books and uniforms):
- Single child $25
- Two or more children from one family $50
September 11, 2018 - May 21, 2019
