Bible Quizzing

Our Bible Quizzing team is kicking off this year's season with a BBQ at the Ashcrafts' home on Sunday, August 27, at 5:00pm!  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. This event is for students 6th-12th grade who are interested in being on the Lighthouse Bible Quizzing Team.

Quizzing is just for 6th through 12th graders. Bible Quizzing is a great way to learn and memorize Scripture, make new friends and compete against other Bible Quizzers from teams around the state. Each year we study different parts of the New Testament. We use the ESV translation. Each team consists of between two and five members and churches can have multiple teams.

Contact Tim Ashcraft for the start dates for Bible Quizzing practices.

Trek (7th-8th Grade)

Trek is our Awana club for 7th & 8th graders. Trek challenges students to consider their destiny in Christ and pursue it through life application of God's Word.

We follow the student leader model of Awana: our youth serve within the club. Trek and Journey clubbers will have the option to help in Cubbies or Sparks as student leaders, game time assistants, administration helpers, audio visual operators, or as listeners. This introduction to being a volunteer is great for learning about leadership.

Awana meets weekly from September to May on Tuesday evenings from 6:30pm-8:30pm and generally follows the Puyallup School District schedule. For more information and to register for Trek, contact our Awana Commander, This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. We follow the student leader model of Awana: our youth serve within the club.
