Currently, we have two mission trips planned for 2022. These trips to Sierra Leone are back to back so that you may choose to participate in one or both trips. Check out the details below.

Sierra Leone with Children of the Nations

Children of the Nations is dedicated to raising children out of poverty so they can become leaders who transform their nations. This nonprofit Christian organization currently provides care to orphaned and destitute children in Sierra Leone, Malawi, Ugana, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. By partnering with local people, they establish orphanages and village partnership programs, helping destitute families and caregivers of orphans. COTN believes that true, lasting, and meaningful change within a nation begins with its children. Click here for more info about COTN.

Lighthouse is partnering with COTN to offer a mission trip through their Venture Program. This trip is currently scheduled for April 9-19, 2022. If you would like to learn more about this opportunity, indicate your interest by using the link below to join the COTN Mission Trip to Sierra Leone 2022 group.

Sierra Leone with Clean Water Equals Life

CWEL International is an organization focused on bringing hope by providing clean water and meeting practical needs. This mission is accomplished by building relationships with people in remote and poor areas throughout the world. Due to the trust established between CWEL and the local people, they are able to share the gospel in areas that they might not otherwise be welcome. CWEL facilitates mission trips to Sierra Leone where travelers get the opportunity to build wells, assist with providing medical care, and spread the hope of the gospel.

The owner and founder of CWEL, Dave Hesketh, is part of our Lighthouse family. To learn more about Dave and CWEL, click here.
