CityServe: Share the Kindness

CityServe: Share the Kindness

July is "CityServe: Share the Kindness" month. During July, we will purposely reach out to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our neighbors and surrounding community.

Ideas for getting involved:
1. Volunteer to serve with one of our local partners (REST, CareNet, Olive Crest, etc). Sign-ups for these projects will open on June 15.
2. Submit your own service project and invite others to sign up to help out. The deadline for submitting projects is June 14. Sign-ups for these projects will open on June 15.
3. Just do it. You don’t have to formally submit a project. Just find a way to share the love of Jesus with your neighbors and go serve as a family, a home group, as friends, or whatever.

As you start to plan your project, think about:
• where you can share the love of Jesus through service in your own neighborhood.
• how your project can serve as a bridge for the gospel (invite to home group, weekend gatherings, etc.).
• who you can invite to serve with you (like non-believing neighbors, etc.).
