Baptism
Baptism is an important step in your faith journey. This act of obedience gives you the opportunity to publicly identify with Jesus Christ, confessing your personal faith in Him.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age. (Matthew 28:19-20)
A Note to Parents
Rather than set a minimum age for baptism, we ask parents to determine when baptism would be appropriate for their younger children based on their understanding of salvation through Jesus. We offer a class just for kids who want to be baptized. This class covers the hows and whys of baptism in a way that younger children will understand. A parent must attend the class with children under 12 years old wishing to be baptized.

Our baptism class helps you prepare for this significant spiritual event. If you are interested in learning more about being baptized at LCC, please plan to attend our next class. We offer classes for three age groups: kiddos under 12 years, youth 12-17 years, and adults 18+.
